These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TripMath app and website (the “Service”). By using TripMath you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who can use TripMath
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you invite others to a trip or group, you're responsible for the people you invite.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
What TripMath is — and isn't
TripMath helps you record shared expenses, split them among a group, and see who owes whom. It is a tracking and bookkeeping tool only. TripMath is not a bank, payment processor, or money-transfer service, and it does not move funds between people. Any actual payment between members happens outside the app, and the balances TripMath shows are based on what you and your group enter — they depend on that information being accurate.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — your trips, expenses, notes, and images. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, store, sync, and display that content to operate the Service, including showing it to the other members of the trips and groups you share it with. You're responsible for what you enter and for having the right to share it.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive.
- Don't infringe anyone's rights or upload content you don't have permission to share.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
Service availability
We work to keep TripMath reliable, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripMath disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for disputes between members over money owed, or for amounts that are wrong because of what was entered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using TripMath and delete your account any time in the app (Me → Data & Privacy → Delete Account). We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use TripMath after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
